shouting:"BLESSEDIS THE KINGWHO COMESIN THE NAMEOF THE LORD;Peacein heavenand gloryin the highest!"
for todayin the cityof Davidthere has been bornfor you a Savior,whois Christthe Lord.
SoPilateaskedHim, saying,"Are You the Kingof the Jews?"And He answeredhim and said,"[It is as] you say."
Nowthere was alsoan inscriptionaboveHim, "THISIS THE KINGOF THE JEWS."
NathanaelansweredHim, "Rabbi,You are the Sonof God;You are the Kingof Israel."
tookthe branchesof the palm treesand wentout to meetHim, and [began] to shout,"Hosanna!BLESSEDIS HE WHO COMESIN THE NAMEOF THE LORD,eventhe Kingof Israel."
ThereforePilatesaidto Him, "SoYou are a king?"Jesusanswered,"You say[correctly] that I ama king.For thisI have been born,and for thisI have comeinto the world,to testifyto the truth.Everyonewho is of the truthhearsMy voice."
Pilatealsowrotean inscriptionand putit on the cross.It was written,"JESUSTHE NAZARENE,THE KINGOF THE JEWS."
Thomasansweredand saidto Him, "My Lordand my God!"
sothat allwill honorthe Sonevenas they honorthe Father.He who does not honorthe Sondoes not honorthe Fatherwho sentHim.
And he said,"Lord,I believe."And he worshipedHim.
And whenHe againbringsthe firstborninto the world,He says,"AND LET ALLTHE ANGELSOF GODWORSHIPHIM."
