"Thisis what everyonewho is numberedshall give:halfa shekelaccording to the shekelof the sanctuary(the shekelis twentygerahs),halfa shekelas a contributionto the LORD.
a bekaa head([that is], halfa shekelaccording to the shekelof the sanctuary),for eachonewho passedoverto those who were numbered,from twentyyearsoldand upward,for 603,550men.
"For ifyou lovethosewho loveyou, whatrewarddoyou have?Do not eventhe tax collectorsdothe same?
