"Ifyou say,'Howshall we persecutehim?' And 'What pretextfor a caseagainst him can we find?'
The wordsof his mouthare wickednessand deceit;He has ceasedto be wise[and] to dogood.
The wickedman desiresthe bootyof evilmen,But the rootof the righteousyields[fruit].
A manwill not be establishedby wickedness,But the rootof the righteouswill not be moved.

For in ChristJesusneithercircumcisionnoruncircumcisionmeansanything,but faithworkingthroughlove.
Those whodesireto make a good showingin the fleshtry to compelyou to be circumcised,simplysothat they will not be persecutedfor the crossof Christ.
For neitheris circumcisionanything,noruncircumcision,but a newcreation.
so that Christmay dwellin your heartsthroughfaith;[and] that you, being rootedand groundedin love,
