"[The] Queenof [the] Southwill riseup with thisgenerationat the judgmentand will condemnit, becauseshe camefrom the endsof the earthto hearthe wisdomof Solomon;and behold,something greaterthan Solomonis here.
Allthe earthwas seekingthe presenceof Solomon,to hearhis wisdomwhichGodhad putin his heart.
behold,I have doneaccording to your words.Behold,I have givenyou a wiseand discerningheart,sothat there has beennoone likeyou beforeyou, norshall one likeyou ariseafteryou.
When allIsraelheardof the judgmentwhichthe kinghad handeddown,they fearedthe king,for they sawthat the wisdomof Godwas in him to administerjustice.
"So giveYour servantan understandingheartto judgeYour peopleto discernbetweengoodand evil.For whois ableto judgethisgreatpeopleof Yours?"
Now GodgaveSolomonwisdomand verygreatdiscernmentand breadthof mind,like the sandthat is on the seashore.
Men camefrom allpeoplesto hearthe wisdomof Solomon,from allthe kingsof the earthwhohad heardof his wisdom.
The LORDgavewisdomto Solomon,justas He promisedhim; and there was peacebetweenHiramand Solomon,and the twoof them madea covenant.
"Thereforethe LordHimselfwill giveyou a sign:Behold,a virginwill be with childand beara son,and she will callHis nameImmanuel.
"The menof Ninevehwill standup with thisgenerationat the judgment,and will condemnit becausethey repentedat the preachingof Jonah;and behold,something greaterthan Jonahis here.
"But I sayto you that something greaterthan the templeis here.
While he was stillspeaking,a brightcloudovershadowedthem, and behold,a voiceout of the cloudsaid,"Thisis My belovedSon,with whomI am well-pleased;listento Him!"
and behold,a voiceout of the heavenssaid,"Thisis My belovedSon,in whomI am well-pleased."
And the Wordbecameflesh,and dweltamongus, and we sawHis glory,gloryas of the only begottenfrom the Father,fullof graceand truth.
No onehas seenGodat any time;the only begottenGodwho is in the bosomof the Father,He has explained[Him].
