"I feel compassionfor the peoplebecausethey have remainedwith Me nowthreedaysand havenothingto eat.
Then he lookedand behold,there was at his heada breadcake[baked on] hotstones,and a jarof water.So he ateand drankand laydownagain.
Just as a fatherhascompassionon [his] children,So the LORDhascompassionon those who fearHim.
The eyesof alllookto You, And You givethem their foodin due time.
The LORDis graciousand merciful;Slowto angerand greatin lovingkindness.
He will againhavecompassionon us; He will treadour iniquitiesunderfoot.Yes, You will castalltheir sinsInto the depthsof the sea.
When He went ashore,He sawa largecrowd,and felt compassionfor them and healedtheir sick.
Moved with compassion,Jesustouchedtheir eyes;and immediatelythey regained their sightand followedHim.
Seeingthe people,He felt compassionfor them, becausethey were distressedand dispiritedlikesheepwithouta shepherd.
Moved with compassion,Jesus stretchedout His handand touchedhim, and saidto him, "I am willing;be cleansed."
And He did not lethim, but He saidto him, "Gohometo your peopleand reportto them what great thingsthe Lordhas donefor you, and [how] He had mercyon you."
They went awayin the boatto a secludedplaceby themselves.
When Jesus went ashore,He sawa largecrowd,and He felt compassionfor them becausethey were likesheepwithouta shepherd;and He beganto teachthem many things.
"IfI send them awayhungryto their homes,they will fainton the way;and someof them have comefrom a great distance."
"It has oftenthrownhim bothinto the fireand into the waterto destroyhim. But ifYou cando anything,take pityon us and helpus!"
"Sohe gotup and cameto his father.But while he was stilla long wayoff,his fathersawhim and felt compassion[for him], and ranand embracedhim and kissedhim.
When the Lordsawher, He felt compassionfor her, and saidto her, "Do not weep."
Therefore,He hadto be made likeHis brethrenin all things,sothat He might becomea mercifuland faithfulhigh priestin things pertainingto God,to make propitiationfor the sinsof the people.
For we do not havea high priestwhocannotsympathizewith our weaknesses,but One whohas been temptedin all thingsas [we are, yet] withoutsin.
