But Jesus,overhearingwhatwas being spoken,saidto the synagogue official,"Do not be afraid[any] [longer], onlybelieve."
They roseearlyin the morningand wentout to the wildernessof Tekoa;and when they wentout, Jehoshaphatstoodand said,"Listento me, O Judahand inhabitantsof Jerusalem,putyour trustin the LORDyour Godand you will be established.Putyour trustin His prophetsand succeed."
And He saidto them, "Becauseof the littleness of your faith;for trulyI sayto you, ifyou havefaiththe sizeof a mustardseed,you will sayto thismountain,'Movefrom hereto there,'and it will move;and nothingwill be impossibleto you.
While He was sayingthese thingsto them, a [synagogue] officialcameand bowed down beforeHim, and said,"My daughterhas justdied;but comeand layYour handon her, and she will live."
Oneof the synagogue officialsnamedJairuscameup, and on seeingHim, fellat His feet
And He saidto her, "Daughter,your faithhas made you well;goin peaceand be healedof your affliction."
And Jesussaidto him, "'IfYou can?'All thingsare possibleto him who believes."
But when Jesusheard[this], He answeredhim, "Do not be afraid[any longer]; onlybelieve,and she will be made well."
Jesussaid to her, "Did I not sayto you that ifyou believe,you will seethe gloryof God?"
