And manywere gathered together,sothat there was no longerroom,not evennearthe door;and He was speakingthe wordto them.
And He wentout againby the seashore;and allthe peoplewere comingto Him, and He was teachingthem.
But he wentout and beganto proclaimit freelyand to spreadthe newsaround,to such an extentthat Jesus couldno longerpubliclyentera city,but stayedout in unpopulatedareas;and they were comingto Him from everywhere.
preachthe word;be readyin season[and] out of season;reprove,rebuke,exhort,with greatpatienceand instruction.
But whatdoes it say?"THE WORDIS NEARYOU, IN YOUR MOUTHAND IN YOUR HEART"--that is, the wordof faithwhichwe are preaching,
They passed throughthe Phrygianand Galatianregion,having been forbiddenby the HolySpiritto speakthe wordin Asia;
When they had spokenthe wordin Perga,they went downto Attalia.
So thenthosewho were scatteredbecauseof the persecutionthat occurredin connectionwith Stephenmade their wayto Phoeniciaand Cyprusand Antioch,speakingthe wordto no oneexceptto Jewsalone.
So,when they had solemnly testifiedand spokenthe wordof the Lord,they started backto Jerusalem,and were preaching the gospelto manyvillagesof the Samaritans.
Underthesecircumstances,after so many thousandsof peoplehad gathered togetherthat they were steppingon one another,He begansayingto His disciplesfirst[of all, ]"Bewareof the leavenof the Pharisees,whichis hypocrisy.
"Nowthe parableis this:the seedis the wordof God.
Soon afterwards,He [began] going aroundfrom one cityand villageto another,proclaimingand preachingthe kingdomof God.The twelvewere with Him,
they foundHim, and saidto Him, "Everyoneis lookingfor You."
And the wholecityhad gatheredat the door.
Now afterJohnhad been taken into custody,Jesuscameinto Galilee,preachingthe gospelof God,
He openedHis mouthand [began] to teachthem, saying,
I have proclaimedgladtidingsof righteousnessin the greatcongregation;Behold,I will not restrainmy lips,O LORD,You know.
OnedayHe was teaching;and there were [some] Phariseesand teachers of the lawsitting[there], whohad comefrom everyvillageof Galileeand Judeaand [from] Jerusalem;and the powerof the Lordwas [present] for Him to perform healing.
When Jesus went ashore,He sawa largecrowd,and He felt compassionfor them becausethey were likesheepwithouta shepherd;and He beganto teachthem many things.
When He had comebackto Capernaumseveral daysafterward,it was heardthat He was at home.
