I have becomea marvelto many,For You are my strongrefuge.
He was oppressedand He was afflicted,Yet He did not openHis mouth;Like a lambthat is ledto slaughter,And like a sheepthat is silentbeforeits shearers,So He did not openHis mouth.
Behold,I and the childrenwhomthe LORDhas givenme are for signsand wondersin Israelfrom the LORDof hosts,who dwellson MountZion.
Nowlisten,Joshuathe highpriest,you and your friendswho are sittingin frontof you-- indeedthey are menwho are a symbol,for behold,I am going to bringin My servantthe Branch.
And whileHe was being accusedby the chief priestsand elders,He did not answer.
And He did not answerhim with regardto evena [single] charge,sothe governorwas quiteamazed.
ThenPilatequestionedHim again,saying,"Do You not answer?Seehow manycharges they bring againstYou!"
And he questionedHim at somelength;but He answeredhim nothing.
and he enteredinto the Praetoriumagainand saidto Jesus,"Whereare You from?" But Jesusgavehim noanswer.
For, I think,Godhas exhibitedus apostleslast of all,as men condemned to death;becausewe have becomea spectacleto the world,bothto angelsand to men.
