And they allleftHim and fled.
My lovedones and my friendsstandalooffrom my plague;And my kinsmenstandafaroff.
You have removedloverand friendfarfrom me; My acquaintancesare [in] darkness.
"I have troddenthe winetroughalone,And from the peoplestherewas nomanwith Me. I also trodthem in My angerAnd trampledthem in My wrath;And their lifebloodis sprinkledon My garments,And I stainedallMy raiment.
And Jesussaidto them, "You will allfall away,becauseit is written,I WILL STRIKE DOWNTHE SHEPHERD,AND THE SHEEPSHALL BE SCATTERED.'
"EverydayI was with you in the templeteaching,and you did not seizeMe; but [this has] [taken place] to fulfillthe Scriptures."
A young manwas followingHim, wearing[nothing but] a linen sheetover[his] naked[body]; and they seizedhim.
"Behold,an houris coming,and has [already] come,for you to be scattered,eachto his own[home], and to leaveMe alone;and [yet] I amnot alone,becausethe Fatheris with Me.
Jesusanswered,"I toldyou that I am[He]; soifyou seekMe, letthesego their way,"
At my firstdefenseno onesupportedme, but alldesertedme; may it not be countedagainst them.
