then the dustwill returnto the earthas it was, and the spiritwill returnto Godwhogaveit.
But they fellon their facesand said,"O God,Godof the spiritsof allflesh,when onemansins,will You be angrywith the entirecongregation?"
And Jesus,cryingout with a loudvoice,said,"Father,INTO YOUR HANDSI COMMITMY SPIRIT."Having saidthis,He breathed His last.
And He saidto them, "Whyare you troubled,and whydo doubtsarisein your hearts?
And when He had saidthis,He showedthem His handsand His feet.
And when He had saidthis,He showedthem bothHis handsand His side.The disciplesthenrejoicedwhen they sawthe Lord.
Sothe otherdiscipleswere sayingto him, "We have seenthe Lord!"But he saidto them, "UnlessI seein His handsthe imprintof the nails,and putmy fingerinto the placeof the nails,and putmy handinto His side,I will not believe."
ThenHe saidto Thomas,"Reachherewith your finger,and seeMy hands;and reachhere your handand putit into My side;and do not be unbelieving,but believing."
To theseHe alsopresentedHimselfaliveafterHis suffering,by manyconvincing proofs,appearingto them over[a period of] fortydaysand speakingof the things concerningthe kingdomof God.
Nowmay the Godof peaceHimselfsanctifyyou entirely;and may your spiritand souland bodybe preservedcomplete,without blameat the comingof our LordJesusChrist.
Furthermore,we hadearthlyfathersto disciplineus, and we respectedthem; shall we not muchratherbe subjectto the Fatherof spirits,and live?
Whatwas from the beginning,whatwe have heard,whatwe have seenwith our eyes,whatwe have lookedat and touchedwith our hands,concerningthe Wordof Life--
