"I have seenhis ways,but I will healhim; I will leadhim and restorecomfortto him and to his mourners,
"Ifthe houseis worthy,giveit your [blessing of] peace.But ifit is not worthy,take backyour [blessing of] peace.
AfterwardHe appearedto the eleventhemselvesas they were reclining[at the table]; and He reproachedthem for their unbeliefand hardness of heart,becausethey had not believedthosewho had seenHim after He had risen.
"Whateverhouseyou enter,firstsay,'Peace[be] to thishouse.'
"PeaceI leavewith you; My peaceI giveto you; not as the worldgivesdo I giveto you. Do not let your heartbe troubled,norlet it be fearful.
"These thingsI have spokento you, sothat in Me you may havepeace.In the worldyou havetribulation,but take courage;I have overcomethe world."
AftereightdaysHis discipleswere againinside,and Thomaswith them. Jesuscame,the doorshaving been shut,and stoodin their midstand said,"Peace[be] with you."
To theseHe alsopresentedHimselfaliveafterHis suffering,by manyconvincing proofs,appearingto them over[a period of] fortydaysand speakingof the things concerningthe kingdomof God.
