Now manypeoplewere gatheredat Jerusalemto celebratethe Feastof UnleavenedBreadin the secondmonth,a verylargeassembly.
From You [comes] my praisein the greatassembly;I shall paymy vowsbeforethose who fearHim.
And allthe peoplegatheredas onemanat the squarewhichwas in frontof the WaterGate,and they askedEzrathe scribeto bringthe bookof the lawof Moseswhichthe LORDhad givento Israel.
Allthe assemblyof Judahrejoiced,with the priestsand the Levitesand allthe assemblythat camefrom Israel,both the sojournerswho camefrom the landof Israeland those livingin Judah.
For the kingand his princesand allthe assemblyin Jerusalemhad decidedto celebratethe Passoverin the secondmonth,
And KingSolomonand allthe congregationof Israelwho were assembledwith him beforethe ark,were sacrificingso manysheepand oxenthat they could not be countedor numbered.
ThenSolomonassembledto Jerusalemthe eldersof Israeland allthe headsof the tribes,the leadersof the fathers'[households] of the sonsof Israel,to bringup the arkof the covenantof the LORDout of the cityof David,whichis Zion.
And DavidassembledallIsraelat Jerusalemto bringup the arkof the LORDto its placewhichhe had preparedfor it.
So DavidassembledallIsraeltogether, from the Shihorof Egypteven to the entranceof Hamath,to bringthe arkof Godfrom Kiriath-jearim.
From there[they continued] to Beer,that is the wellwherethe LORDsaidto Moses,"Assemblethe people,that I may givethem water."
"Takethe rod;and you and your brotherAaronassemblethe congregationand speakto the rockbefore their eyes,that it may yieldits water.You shall thus bringforthwaterfor them out of the rockand let the congregationand their beastsdrink."

So Mosesdidjustas the LORDcommandedhim. When the congregationwas assembledat the doorwayof the tentof meeting,
"So you shall presentthe Levitesbeforethe tentof meeting.You shall also assemblethe wholecongregationof the sonsof Israel,
and the priestwho pronounceshim cleanshall presentthe manto be cleansedand the aforesaid beforethe LORDat the doorwayof the tentof meeting.
