and when it revertsin the jubilee,the fieldshall be holyto the LORD,like a fieldsetapart;it shall be for the priestas his property.
and that whoeverwould not comewithin threedays,according to the counselof the leadersand the elders,allhis possessionsshould be forfeitedand he himselfexcludedfrom the assemblyof the exiles.
"They shall eatthe grain offering,the sinofferingand the guiltoffering;and everydevotedthingin Israelshall be theirs.
You shall thus consecratethe fiftiethyearand proclaima releasethrough the landto allits inhabitants.It shall be a jubileefor you, and eachof you shall returnto his own property,and eachof you shall returnto his family.
But ifhe has not foundsufficientmeansto getit backfor himself, then whathe has soldshall remainin the handsof its purchaseruntilthe yearof jubilee;but at the jubileeit shall revert,that he may returnto his property.
The housesof the villages,however, whichhavenosurroundingwallshall be consideredas openfields;they haveredemptionrightsand revertin the jubilee.
Yet ifhe will not redeemthe field,but has soldthe fieldto anotherman,it may nolongerbe redeemed;
Or ifhe consecratesto the LORDa fieldwhich he has bought,whichis not a part of the fieldof his own property,
"Everydevotedthingin Israelshall be yours.
"Nothingfrom that whichis put underthe banshall clingto your hand,in orderthat the LORDmay turnfrom His burningangerand showmercyto you, and havecompassionon you and make you increase,justas He has swornto your fathers,
"The cityshall be underthe ban,it and allthat is in it belongs to the LORD;onlyRahabthe harlotand allwhoare with her in the houseshall live,becauseshe hidthe messengerswhomwe sent.
