So the youngmenwho were spieswentin and broughtout Rahaband her fatherand her motherand her brothersand allshe had; they also broughtout allher relativesand placedthem outsidethe campof Israel.

saying,'Do not be afraid,Paul;you muststand beforeCaesar;and behold,Godhas grantedyou allthosewho are sailingwith you.'
For whathave I to do with judgingoutsiders?Do you not judgethose whoare within[the church]?
[remember] that you were at that timeseparatefrom Christ,excludedfrom the commonwealthof Israel,and strangersto the covenantsof promise,havingnohopeand without Godin the world.
By faithRahabthe harlotdid not perish alongwith thosewho were disobedient,after she had welcomedthe spiesin peace.
By faithNoah,being warned[by God] aboutthings not yetseen,in reverencepreparedan arkfor the salvationof his household,by whichhe condemnedthe world,and becamean heirof the righteousnesswhich is accordingto faith.
and sparemy fatherand my motherand my brothersand my sisters,with allwhobelong to them, and deliverour livesfrom death."
She saidto them, "Goto the hillcountry,sothat the pursuerswill not happenupon you, and hideyourselves therefor threedaysuntilthe pursuersreturn.Then afterwardyou may goon your way."
unless,when we comeinto the land,you tiethiscordof scarletthreadin the windowthrough whichyou letus down,and gatherto yourself into the houseyour fatherand your motherand your brothersand allyour father'shousehold.
So he showedthem the entranceto the city,and they struckthe citywith the edgeof the sword,but they letthe manand allhis familygofree.
