In a littlewhilethe skygrewblackwith cloudsand wind,and there was a heavyshower.And Ahabrodeand wentto Jezreel.
Then the handof the LORDwas on Elijah,and he girdedup his loinsand outranAhabto Jezreel.
Now it cameabout afterthesethingsthat Naboththe Jezreelitehada vineyardwhich[was] in Jezreelbesidethe palaceof Ahabkingof Samaria.
"Of Jezebelalsohas the LORDspoken,saying,The dogswill eatJezebelin the districtof Jezreel.'
Baanathe sonof Ahilud,[in] Taanachand Megiddo,and allBeth-sheanwhichis besideZarethanbelowJezreel,from Beth-sheanto Abel-meholahas faras the othersideof Jokmeam;
The dogsshall eatJezebelin the territoryof Jezreel,and noneshall bury[her].'" Then he openedthe doorand fled.
and the corpseof Jezebelwill be as dungon the faceof the fieldin the propertyof Jezreel,sothey cannotsay,"Thisis Jezebel."'"

Joshuasaidto them, "Ifyou are a numerouspeople,goup to the forestand cleara place for yourself therein the landof the Perizzitesand of the Rephaim,sincethe hillcountryof Ephraimis too narrowfor you."

Their territorywas to Jezreeland [included] Chesullothand Shunem,
Now the LORDwas with Judah,and they tookpossessionof the hillcountry;but they could not driveout the inhabitantsof the valleybecausethey had ironchariots.
Siseracalledtogetherallhis chariots,ninehundredironchariots,and allthe peoplewho[were] with him, from Harosheth-hagoyimto the riverKishon.

Then allthe Midianitesand the Amalekitesand the sonsof the eastassembledthemselves; and they crossedoverand campedin the valleyof Jezreel.
