Then they satdownto eata meal.And as they raisedtheir eyesand looked,behold,a caravanof Ishmaeliteswas comingfrom Gilead,with their camelsbearingaromaticgumand balmand myrrh,on their wayto bring[them] downto Egypt.
But Geshurand Aramtookthe townsof Jairfrom them, with Kenathand its villages,[even] sixtycities.Allthesewere the sonsof Machir,the fatherof Gilead.
Now the sonsof Gadlivedoppositethem in the landof Bashanas faras Salecah.
Mosessaidto them, "Ifthe sonsof Gadand the sonsof Reuben,everyonewho is armedfor battle,will crosswith you overthe Jordanin the presenceof the LORD,and the landis subduedbeforeyou, then you shall givethem the landof Gileadfor a possession;
allthe citiesof the plateauand allGileadand allBashan,as faras Salecahand Edrei,citiesof the kingdomof Ogin Bashan.
to the Canaaniteon the eastand on the west,and the Amoriteand the Hittiteand the Perizziteand the Jebusitein the hillcountry,and the Hiviteat the footof Hermonin the landof Mizpeh.
and allthe citiesof Sihonkingof the Amorites,whoreignedin Heshbon,as faras the borderof the sonsof Ammon;
"Thisis the landthat remains:allthe regions[of] the Philistinesand all[those of] the Geshurites;
Their territorywas Jazer,and allthe citiesof Gilead,and halfthe landof the sonsof Ammon,as faras Aroerwhichis beforeRabbah;
Thus there felltenportionsto Manasseh,besidesthe landof Gileadand Bashan,whichis beyondthe Jordan,
Also [some of] the Hebrewscrossedthe Jordaninto the landof Gadand Gilead.But as for Saul,he [was] stillin Gilgal,and allthe peoplefollowedhim trembling.
