Jesussaidto them, "Truly,truly,I sayto you, beforeAbrahamwas born,I am."
Godsaidto Moses,"I AMWHOI AM";and He said,"Thusyou shall sayto the sonsof Israel,I AMhas sentme to you.'"
He is beforeallthings, and in Him all thingshold together.
"Now,Father,glorifyMe togetherwith Yourself,with the glorywhichI hadwith You beforethe worldwas.
"Thussaysthe LORD,the Kingof Israeland his Redeemer,the LORDof hosts:I am the firstand I am the last,And thereis noGodbesidesMe.
"I amthe Alphaand the Omega,"saysthe LordGod,"who is and whowas and who is to come,the Almighty."
JesusChrist[is] the sameyesterdayand todayand forever.
"Father,I desirethat they also,whomYou have givenMe, be with Me whereI am,sothat they may seeMy glorywhichYou have givenMe, for You lovedMe beforethe foundationof the world.
"Listento Me, O Jacob,even Israelwhom I called;I am He, I am the first,I am alsothe last.
"And to the angelof the churchin Smyrnawrite:The firstand the last,whowas dead,and has come to life,saysthis:
For a childwill be bornto us, a sonwill be givento us; And the governmentwill reston His shoulders;And His namewill be calledWonderfulCounselor,MightyGod,EternalFather,Princeof Peace.
"But as for you, BethlehemEphrathah,[Too] littleto be among the clansof Judah,From you One will goforthfor Me to be rulerin Israel.His goingsforthare from longago,From the daysof eternity."
"Evenfrom eternityI am He, And thereis nonewho can deliverout of My hand;I actand whocan reverseit?"
"Rememberthe formerthingslongpast,For I am God,and thereis noother;[I am] God,and there is noonelikeMe,
Do not trembleand do not be afraid;Have I not longsinceannounced[it] to you and declared[it]? And you are My witnesses.Is thereanyGodbesidesMe, Or is thereany [other] Rock?I knowof none.'"

Jesusansweredthem, "Truly,truly,I sayto you, everyonewho commitssinis the slaveof sin.
"ThereforeI saidto you that you will diein your sins;for unlessyou believethat I am[He], you will diein your sins."
SoJesussaid,"Whenyou liftup the Sonof Man,thenyou will knowthat I am[He], and I donothingon My own initiative,but I speakthese thingsas the FathertaughtMe.
Jesusansweredthem, "I toldyou, and you do not believe;the worksthat I doin My Father'sname,thesetestifyof Me.
