for whichI was appointeda preacherand an apostleand a teacher.
For thisI was appointeda preacherand an apostle(I am tellingthe truth,I am not lying)as a teacherof the Gentilesin faithand truth.
to whomGodwilledto make knownwhatis the richesof the gloryof thismysteryamongthe Gentiles, whichis Christin you, the hopeof glory.
To me, the very leastof allsaints, thisgracewas given,to preachto the Gentilesthe unfathomablerichesof Christ,
"And He saidto me, 'Go!For I will sendyou farawayto the Gentiles.'"
and they have been toldaboutyou, that you are teachingallthe Jewswho are amongthe Gentilesto forsakeMoses, tellingthem not to circumcisetheir childrennorto walkaccording to the customs.
When they heardthis, they quieted downand glorifiedGod,saying,"Well then,Godhas grantedto the Gentilesalsothe repentance[that leads] to life."
Sothe Jewswere saying,"SurelyHe will not killHimself, will He, sinceHe says,WhereI am going, you cannotcome'?"
A LIGHTOF REVELATIONTO THE GENTILES,And the gloryof Your peopleIsrael."
"AND IN HIS NAMETHE GENTILESWILL HOPE."
He says,"It is toosmalla thingthat You should be My ServantTo raiseup the tribesof Jacoband to restorethe preservedones of Israel;I will also makeYou a lightof the nationsSo that My salvationmay reachto the endof the earth."
Then in that dayThe nationswill resortto the rootof Jesse,Whowill standas a signalfor the peoples; And His restingplacewill be glorious.
The LORDbuildsup Jerusalem; He gathersthe outcastsof Israel.
The LordGOD,who gathersthe dispersedof Israel, declares,"Yet[others] I will gatherto them, to those [already] gathered."
Afterthese thingsJesuswas walkingin Galilee, for He was unwillingto walkin Judeabecausethe Jewswere seekingto killHim.
But there were someof them, menof Cyprusand Cyrene, whocameto Antiochand [began] speakingto the Greeksalso, preachingthe LordJesus.
In Iconiumthey enteredthe synagogueof the Jewstogether, and spokein such a mannerthat a largenumber of peoplebelieved, bothof Jewsand of Greeks.
And someof them were persuadedand joinedPauland Silas, alongwith a largenumberof the God-fearingGreeksand a numberof the leadingwomen.
And he was reasoningin the synagogueeverySabbathand trying to persuadeJewsand Greeks.
For I am not ashamedof the gospel, for it is the powerof Godfor salvationto everyonewho believes,to the Jewfirstand alsoto the Greek.
