Giveno sleepto your eyes,Norslumberto your eyelids;

"The Lawand the Prophets[were proclaimed] untilJohn;sincethat timethe gospelof the kingdomof Godhas been preached,and everyoneis forcing his wayinto it.
In theselaya multitudeof thosewho were sick,blind,lame,and withered,[waitingfor the movingof the waters;
A manwas therewho had beenillfor thirty-eightyears.
The sickman answeredHim, "Sir,I havenomanto putme into the poolwhenthe wateris stirredup, but whileI am coming,anothersteps downbeforeme."
