"Do not marvelat this;for an houris coming,in whichallwhoare in the tombswill hearHis voice,
Your deadwill live;Their corpseswill rise.You who liein the dust,awakeand shoutfor joy,For your dew[is as] the dewof the dawn,And the earthwill givebirthto the departedspirits.
"Manyof those whosleepin the dustof the groundwill awake,theseto everlastinglife,but the othersto disgrace[and] everlastingcontempt.
Shall I ransomthem from the powerof Sheol?Shall I redeemthem from death?O Death,whereare your thorns?O Sheol,whereis your sting?Compassionwill be hiddenfrom My sight.
"Do not be amazedthat I saidto you, 'You mustbe bornagain.'
Jesussaidto her, "Woman,believeMe, an houris comingwhenneitherin thismountainnorin Jerusalemwill you worshipthe Father.
"But an houris coming,and nowis, whenthe true worshiperswill worshipthe Fatherin spiritand truth;for such peoplethe Fatherseeksto be His worshipers.
"For the Fatherlovesthe Son,and showsHim all thingsthat He Himselfis doing;and [the Father] will showHim greaterworksthan these,sothat you will marvel.
"Truly,truly,I sayto you, an houris comingand nowis, whenthe deadwill hearthe voiceof the Sonof God,and thosewho hearwill live.
havinga hopein God,whichthese mencherishthemselves,that there shall certainlybe a resurrectionof boththe righteousand the wicked.
But when Petersaw[this], he repliedto the people,"Menof Israel,whyare you amazedat this,orwhydo you gazeat us, as ifby our ownpowerorpietywe had madehim walk?
For as in Adamalldie,soalsoin Christallwill be made alive.
whowill transformthe bodyof our humble stateinto conformitywith the bodyof His glory,by the exertionof the power that He hasevento subjectall thingsto Himself.
And I sawthe dead,the greatand the small,standingbeforethe throne,and bookswere opened;and anotherbookwas opened,whichis [the book] of life;and the deadwere judgedfrom the things which were writtenin the books,accordingto their deeds.
