Thisbeginningof [His] signsJesusdidin Canaof Galilee,and manifestedHis glory,and His disciplesbelievedin Him.
Then the womansaidto Elijah,"NowI knowthat you are a manof Godand that the wordof the LORDin your mouthis truth."
And blessedbe His gloriousnameforever;And may the wholeearthbe filledwith His glory.Amen,and Amen.
Tellof His gloryamong the nations,His wonderfuldeedsamong allthe peoples.
When Israelsawthe greatpowerwhichthe LORDhad usedagainst the Egyptians,the peoplefearedthe LORD,and they believedin the LORDand in His servantMoses.
"But ifthey will not believeeventhesetwosignsor heedwhatyou say,then you shall takesomewaterfrom the Nileand pourit on the dryground;and the waterwhichyou takefrom the Nilewill becomebloodon the dryground."
Go[then], eatyour breadin happinessand drinkyour winewith a cheerfulheart;for Godhas alreadyapprovedyour works.
Then the gloryof the LORDwill be revealed,And allfleshwill see[it] together;For the mouthof the LORDhas spoken."
"Ifyou do not listen,and ifyou do not takeit to heartto givehonorto My name,"saysthe LORDof hosts,"then I will sendthe curseupon you and I will curseyour blessings;and indeed,I have cursedthem [already], becauseyou are not taking[it] to heart.
And the Wordbecameflesh,and dweltamongus, and we sawHis glory,gloryas of the only begottenfrom the Father,fullof graceand truth.
For the Lawwas giventhroughMoses;graceand truthwere realizedthroughJesusChrist.
The next dayHe purposedto gointo Galilee,and He foundPhilip.And Jesussaidto him, "FollowMe."
Jesusansweredand saidto him, "BecauseI saidto you that I sawyou underthe fig tree,do you believe?You will seegreater thingsthan these."
Manycameto Him and were saying,"WhileJohnperformednosign,yeteverythingJohnsaidaboutthis manwas true."
and I am gladfor your sakesthat I was not there,sothat you may believe;but let us goto him."
Thereforethe chief priestsand the Phariseesconveneda council,and were saying,"Whatare we doing?For thismanis performingmanysigns.
For thisreasonalsothe peoplewent and metHim, becausethey heardthat He had performedthissign.
But though He had performedso manysignsbeforethem, [yet] they were not believingin Him.
These thingsIsaiahsaidbecausehe sawHis glory,and he spokeof Him.
"Whateveryou askin My name,that will I do,sothat the Fathermay be glorifiedin the Son.
for the FatherHimselflovesyou, becauseyou have lovedMe and have believedthat I came forthfrom the Father.
"Nowwe know that You knowall things,and havenoneedfor anyoneto questionYou; by thiswe believethat You camefrom God."
On the thirddaythere was a weddingin Canaof Galilee,and the motherof Jesuswas there;
NowwhenHe was in Jerusalemat the Passover,duringthe feast,manybelievedin His name,observingHis signswhichHe was doing.
this mancameto Jesus by nightand saidto Him, "Rabbi,we knowthat You have comefrom God[as] a teacher;for no onecandothesesignsthat You dounlessGodis with him."
He leftJudeaand went awayagaininto Galilee.
ThereforeHe cameagainto Canaof GalileewhereHe had madethe waterwine.And there was a royal officialwhosesonwas sickat Capernaum.
Thisis againa secondsignthat Jesusperformedwhen He had comeout of Judeainto Galilee.
sothat allwill honorthe Sonevenas they honorthe Father.He who does not honorthe Sondoes not honorthe Fatherwho sentHim.
Thereforewhen the peoplesawthe signwhichHe had performed,they said,"Thisis trulythe Prophetwho is to comeinto the world."
A largecrowdfollowedHim, becausethey sawthe signswhichHe was performingon thosewho were sick.
Jesusansweredthem and said,"Truly,truly,I sayto you, you seekMe, not becauseyou sawsigns,but becauseyou ateof the loavesand were filled.
Sothey saidto Him, "Whatthendo You dofor a sign,sothat we may see,and believeYou? Whatwork do You perform?
But manyof the crowdbelievedin Him; and they were saying,"Whenthe Christcomes,He will not performmoresignsthan those whichthis manhas, will He?"
Thereforesomeof the Phariseeswere saying,"Thismanis not from God,becauseHe does not keepthe Sabbath."But otherswere saying,"Howcana manwho is a sinnerperformsuchsigns?"And there was a divisionamongthem.
But we all,with unveiledface,beholding as in a mirrorthe gloryof the Lord,are being transformedinto the sameimagefrom gloryto glory,justas from the Lord,the Spirit.
For momentary,lightafflictionis producingfor us an eternalweightof gloryfarbeyondall comparison,
For God,who said,"Lightshall shineout of darkness,"is the One whohas shonein our heartsto give the Lightof the knowledgeof the gloryof Godin the faceof Christ.
"You said,'Behold,the LORDour Godhas shownus His gloryand His greatness,and we have heardHis voicefrom the midstof the fire;we have seentodaythat Godspeakswith man,yet he lives.
These thingsI have writtento you who believein the nameof the Sonof God,sothat you may knowthat you haveeternallife.
