Sothe [Roman] cohortand the commanderand the officersof the Jews,arrestedJesusand boundHim,
Then they cameto the placeof whichGodhad toldhim; and Abrahambuiltthe altarthereand arrangedthe wood,and boundhis sonIsaacand laidhim on the altar,on topof the wood.
So he putthem in confinementin the houseof the captainof the bodyguard,in the jail,the [same] placewhereJosephwas imprisoned.
The LORDis God,and He has givenus light;Bindthe festivalsacrificewith cordsto the hornsof the altar.
Thosewho had seizedJesusled Him awayto Caiaphas,the high priest,wherethe scribesand the elderswere gathered together.
and they boundHim, and led Him awayand deliveredHim to Pilatethe governor.
Thenthe soldiersof the governortookJesusinto the Praetoriumand gatheredthe whole[Roman] cohortaroundHim.
They ledJesusawayto the highpriest;and allthe chief priestsand the eldersand the scribesgathered together.
Earlyin the morningthe chief priestswith the eldersand scribesand the wholeCouncil,immediatelyhelda consultation;and bindingJesus,they led Him awayand deliveredHim to Pilate.
Having arrestedHim, they ledHim [away] and broughtHim to the houseof the high priest;but Peterwas followingat a distance.
Judasthen,having receivedthe [Roman] cohortand officersfrom the chief priestsand the Pharisees,cametherewith lanternsand torchesand weapons.
Now[there was] a manat CaesareanamedCornelius,a centurionof what was calledthe Italiancohort,
While they were seekingto killhim, a reportcameup to the commanderof the [Roman] cohortthat allJerusalemwas in confusion.
As Paulwas aboutto be broughtinto the barracks,he saidto the commander,"MayI saysomethingto you?" And he said,"Do you knowGreek?
And as a greatdissensionwas developing,the commanderwas afraidPaulwould be torn to piecesby them and orderedthe troopsto go downand take him away from them by force,and bringhim into the barracks.
Then the Philistinesseizedhim and gougedout his eyes;and they broughthim downto Gazaand boundhim with bronzechains,and he was a grinderin the prison.
