Jesussaidto her, "I amthe resurrectionand the life;he who believesin Me will liveeven ifhe dies,
For with You is the fountainof life;In Your lightwe seelight.
Your deadwill live;Their corpseswill rise.You who liein the dust,awakeand shoutfor joy,For your dew[is as] the dewof the dawn,And the earthwill givebirthto the departedspirits.
"O Lord,by [these] things [men] live,And in allthese is the lifeof my spirit;O restoreme to healthand let me live!
And He saidto him, "TrulyI sayto you, todayyou shall be with Me in Paradise."
In Him was life,and the lifewas the Lightof men.
"Aftera little whilethe worldwill no longerseeMe, but you [will] seeMe; becauseI live,you will livealso.
Jesussaidto him, "I amthe way,and the truth,and the life;no onecomesto the Fatherbut throughMe.
"For Godsolovedthe world,that He gaveHis only begottenSon,that whoeverbelievesin Him shall not perish,but haveeternallife.
"He who believesin the Sonhaseternallife;but he who does not obeythe Sonwill not seelife,but the wrathof Godabideson him."
"For justas the Fatherraisesthe deadand givesthem life,evensothe Sonalsogives lifeto whomHe wishes.
"For justas the Fatherhaslifein Himself,evensoHe gaveto the Sonalsoto havelifein Himself;
Jesussaidto them, "I amthe breadof life;he who comesto Me will not hunger,and he who believesin Me will neverthirst.
"No onecancometo Me unlessthe Fatherwho sentMe drawshim; and I will raisehim up on the lastday.
but put to deaththe Princeof life,[the one] whomGodraisedfrom the dead,[a fact] to whichwe are witnesses.
(as it is written,"A FATHEROF MANYNATIONSHAVE I MADEYOU") in the presenceof Him whomhe believed,[even] God,who gives lifeto the deadand callsinto being that which does not exist.
For the lawof the Spiritof lifein ChristJesushas set you freefrom the lawof sinand of death.
Thenthosealsowho have fallen asleepin Christhave perished.
Otherwise,whatwill thosedowho are baptizedfor the dead?Ifthe deadare not raisedat all,whythenare they baptizedfor them?
knowingthat He who raisedthe LordJesuswill raiseus alsowith Jesusand will presentus with you.
But I am hard-pressedfrom both[directions], havingthe desireto departand be with Christ,for [that] is very muchbetter;
that I may knowHim and the powerof His resurrectionand the fellowshipof His sufferings,being conformedto His death;
For ifwe believethat Jesusdiedand rose again,evensoGodwill bringwith Him thosewho have fallen asleepin Jesus.
and the livingOne; and I was dead,and behold,I amaliveforevermore,and I havethe keysof deathand of Hades.
The restof the deaddid not come to lifeuntilthe thousandyearswere completed.Thisis the firstresurrection.
and He will wipe awayeverytearfrom their eyes;and there will nolongerbe [any] death;there will nolongerbe [any] mourning,orcrying,orpain;the first thingshave passed away."
Thenhe showedme a riverof the waterof life,clearas crystal,comingfrom the throneof Godand of the Lamb,
The Spiritand the bridesay,"Come."And let the one who hearssay,"Come."And let the one who is thirstycome;let the one who wishestakethe waterof lifewithout cost.
