Otherswere saying,"Theseare not the sayingsof one demon-possessed.A demoncannotopenthe eyesof the blind,can he?"
The LORDopens[the eyes of] the blind;The LORDraisesup those who are boweddown;The LORDlovesthe righteous;
He who plantedthe ear,does He not hear?He who formedthe eye,does He not see?
The LORDsaidto him, "Whohas mademan'smouth?Orwhomakes[him] muteordeaf,orseeingorblind?Is it not I, the LORD?
Then the magicianssaidto Pharaoh,"Thisis the fingerof God."But Pharaoh'sheartwas hardened,and he did not listento them, as the LORDhad said.
The hearingearand the seeingeye,The LORDhas madebothof them.
[the] BLINDRECEIVE SIGHTand [the] lamewalk,[the] lepersare cleansedand [the] deafhear,[the] deadare raisedup, and [the] POORHAVE THE GOSPEL PREACHEDTO THEM.
The newsabout Him spreadthroughoutallSyria;and they broughtto Him allwho were ill,those sufferingwith variousdiseasesand pains,demoniacs,epileptics,paralytics;and He healedthem.
At that timethe Feast of the Dedicationtook placeat Jerusalem;
When He had saidthis,He spaton the ground,and madeclayof the spittle,and appliedthe clayto his eyes,
