"Whenyou cultivatethe ground,it will nolongeryieldits strengthto you; you will be a vagrantand a wandereron the earth."
Your righteousnessis like the mountainsof God;Your judgmentsare [like] a greatdeep.O LORD,You preservemanand beast.
The pasturesof the wildernessdrip,And the hillsgirdthemselves with rejoicing.
The meadowsare clothedwith flocksAnd the valleysare coveredwith grain; They shoutfor joy, yes, they sing.
The earthhas yieldedits produce;God,our God,blessesus.
Indeed, the LORDwill comfortZion; He will comfortallher wasteplaces. And her wildernessHe will makelike Eden,And her desertlike the gardenof the LORD;Joyand gladnesswill be foundin her, Thanksgivingand soundof a melody.
"I will multiplythe fruitof the treeand the produceof the field, sothat you will not receiveagainthe disgraceof famineamong the nations.
"They will say,'Thisdesolatelandhas becomelike the gardenof Eden;and the waste, desolateand ruinedcitiesare fortified[and] inhabited.'
But you, O mountainsof Israel, you will putforth your branchesand bearyour fruitfor My peopleIsrael;for they will sooncome.
