"For to the snowHe says,'Fallon the earth,'And to the downpourand the rain,'Be strong.'
"But there are manypeople;it is the rainyseasonand we are not ableto standin the open.Nor[can] the task[be done] in oneor twodays,for we have transgressedgreatlyin thismatter.
So allthe menof Judahand Benjaminassembledat Jerusalemwithin the threedays.It was the ninthmonthon the twentiethof the month,and allthe peoplesatin the opensquare[before] the houseof God,tremblingbecauseof this matterand the heavy rain.
When He seta limitfor the rainAnd a coursefor the thunderbolt,
"For He drawsup the dropsof water,They distillrainfrom the mist,
"Have you enteredthe storehousesof the snow,Or have you seenthe storehousesof the hail,
"He givesrainon the earthAnd sendswateron the fields,
Fireand hail,snowand clouds;Stormywind,fulfillingHis word;
A poormanwho oppressesthe lowlyIs [like] a drivingrainwhich leavesnofood.
[so] tellthose who plaster[it] overwith whitewash,that it will fall.A floodingrainwill come,and you, O hailstones,will fall;and a violentwindwill breakout.
Therefore,thussaysthe LordGOD,"I will make a violentwindbreakout in My wrath.There will also be in My angera floodingrainand hailstonesto consume[it] in wrath.
The One who buildsHis upperchambersin the heavensAnd has foundedHis vaulteddomeoverthe earth,He who callsfor the watersof the seaAnd poursthem out on the faceof the earth,The LORDis His name.
