Whateverthe LORDpleases,He does,In heavenand in earth,in the seasand in alldeeps.
Manyplansare in a man'sheart,But the counselof the LORDwill stand.
What is crookedcannotbe straightenedand whatis lackingcannotbe counted.
I knowthat everythingGoddoeswill remainforever;thereis nothingto addto it and thereis nothingto takefrom it, for Godhas [so] workedthat men should fearHim.
Declaringthe endfrom the beginning,And from ancienttimesthings whichhave not been done,Saying,My purposewill be established,And I will accomplishallMy goodpleasure';
Callinga birdof preyfrom the east,The manof My purposefrom a farcountry.TrulyI have spoken;trulyI will bringit to pass.I have planned[it, surely] I will doit.
"Allthe inhabitantsof the earthare accountedas nothing,But He doesaccordingto His willin the hostof heavenAnd [among] the inhabitantsof earth;And noone can wardoffHis handOr sayto Him, 'Whathave You done?'
You will sayto me then,"Whydoes He stillfind fault?For whoresistsHis will?"
