Listen,O heavens,and hear,O earth;For the LORDspeaks,"SonsI have rearedand broughtup, But they have revoltedagainst Me.
Be delayedand wait,Blindyourselves and be blind;They becomedrunk,but not with wine,They stagger,but not with strongdrink.
"Thereforethussaysthe LORD,Asknowamong the nations,Whoever heardthe like of this?The virginof IsraelHas donea mostappallingthing.
"O land,land,land,Hearthe wordof the LORD!
I lookedon the earth,and behold,[it was] formlessand void;And to the heavens,and they hadnolight.
"Hear,O earth:behold,I am bringingdisasteron thispeople,The fruitof their plans,Becausethey have not listenedto My words,And as for My law,they have rejectedit also.
"Listen,you mountains,to the indictmentof the LORD,And you enduringfoundationsof the earth,Becausethe LORDhas a caseagainstHis people;Even with IsraelHe will dispute.
Nowfrom the sixthhourdarknessfellupon allthe landuntilthe ninthhour.
"Giveear,O heavens,and let me speak;And let the earthhearthe wordsof my mouth.
