then there will comein through the gatesof thiscitykingsand princessittingon the throneof David,ridingin chariotsand on horses,they and their princes,the menof Judahand the inhabitantsof Jerusalem,and thiscitywill be inhabitedforever.
"Your houseand your kingdomshall endurebeforeMe forever;your throneshall be establishedforever."'"
Davidcapturedfrom him 1,700horsemenand 20,000footsoldiers;and Davidhamstrungthe chariothorses,but reserved[enough] of them for 100chariots.
Now thisdaywill be a memorialto you, and you shall celebrateit [as] a feastto the LORD;throughout your generationsyou are to celebrateit [as] a permanentordinance.
Therewill be noendto the increaseof [His] governmentor of peace,On the throneof Davidand overhis kingdom,To establishit and to upholdit with justiceand righteousnessFrom thenon and forevermore.The zealof the LORDof hostswill accomplishthis.
then sayto them, 'Thussaysthe LORD,"BeholdI am about to fillallthe inhabitantsof thisland--the kingsthat sitfor Davidon his throne,the priests,the prophetsand allthe inhabitantsof Jerusalem--with drunkenness!
and say,'Hearthe wordof the LORD,O kingof Judah,who sitson David'sthrone,you and your servantsand your peoplewho enterthesegates.
"Thussaysthe LORD,'Writethismandownchildless,A manwho will not prosperin his days;For nomanof his descendantswill prosperSittingon the throneof DavidOr rulingagainin Judah.'"
"For ifyou men will indeedperformthisthing,then kingswill enterthe gatesof thishouse,sittingin David'splace on his throne,ridingin chariotsand on horses,[even the king] himselfand his servantsand his people.
saying,Turnnoweveryonefrom his evilwayand from the evilof your deeds,and dwellon the landwhichthe LORDhas givento you and your forefathersforeverand ever;
In thosedaysand at that timeI will cause a righteousBranchof Davidto springforth;and He shall executejusticeand righteousnesson the earth.
"For thussaysthe LORD,Davidshall neverlacka manto siton the throneof the houseof Israel;
then My covenantmay alsobe brokenwith DavidMy servantso that he will not havea sonto reignon his throne,and with the Leviticalpriests,My ministers.
Thussaysthe LORDof hosts,the Godof Israel,"Amendyour waysand your deeds,and I will let you dwellin thisplace.
then I will let you dwellin thisplace,in the landthat I gaveto your fathersforeverand ever.
"Moreover,he shall not multiplyhorsesfor himself, norshall he cause the peopleto returnto Egyptto multiplyhorses,since the LORDhas saidto you, 'You shall neveragainreturnthat way.'
But you have cometo MountZionand to the cityof the livingGod,the heavenlyJerusalem,and to myriadsof angels,
He said,"Thiswill be the procedureof the kingwhowill reignoveryou: he will takeyour sonsand place[them] for himself in his chariotsand among his horsemenand they will runbeforehis chariots.
