hearin heavenYour dwellingplace,and doaccording to allfor whichthe foreignercallsto You, in orderthat allthe peoplesof the earthmay knowYour name,to fearYou, as [do] Your peopleIsrael,and that they may knowthat thishousewhichI have builtis calledby Your name.
"And may thesewordsof mine, with whichI have madesupplicationbeforethe LORD,be nearto the LORDour Goddayand night,that He may maintainthe causeof His servantand the causeof His peopleIsrael,as eachdayrequires,
sothat allthe peoplesof the earthmay knowthat the LORDis God;thereis nooneelse.
"Cease[striving] and knowthat I am God;I will be exaltedamong the nations,I will be exaltedin the earth."
Destroy[them] in wrath,destroy[them] that they may be nomore;That [men] may knowthat Godrulesin JacobTo the endsof the earth.Selah.
And it will be saidin that day,"Behold,thisis our Godfor whom we have waitedthat He might saveus. Thisis the LORDfor whom we have waited;Let us rejoiceand be gladin His salvation."
For the LORDis our judge,The LORDis our lawgiver,The LORDis our king;He will saveus--
Sayto those with anxiousheart,"Takecourage,fearnot. Behold,your Godwill come[with] vengeance;The recompenseof Godwill come,But He will saveyou."
"O LORDof hosts,the Godof Israel,who is enthroned[above] the cherubim,You are the God,You alone,of allthe kingdomsof the earth.You have madeheavenand earth.
"I am the LORD,that is My name;I will not giveMy gloryto another,NorMy praiseto gravenimages.
"I am the LORD,and thereis noother;BesidesMe thereis noGod.I will girdyou, though you have not knownMe;
"I will vindicatethe holinessof My greatnamewhich has been profanedamong the nations,whichyou have profanedin their midst.Then the nationswill knowthat I am the LORD,"declaresthe LordGOD,"when I proveMyself holyamong you in their sight.
"And I will setMy gloryamong the nations;and allthe nationswill seeMy judgmentwhichI have executedand My handwhichI have laidon them.
Let the priests,the LORD'Sministers,Weepbetweenthe porchand the altar,And let them say,"SpareYour people,O LORD,And do not makeYour inheritancea reproach,A bywordamong the nations.Whyshould they among the peoplessay,Whereis their God?'"
"For from the risingof the sunevento its setting,My name[will be] greatamong the nations,and in everyplaceincenseis going to be offeredto My name,and a grain offering[that is] pure;for My name[will be] greatamong the nations,"saysthe LORDof hosts.
