"To whomwould He teachknowledge,And to whomwould He interpretthe message?Those [just] weanedfrom milk?Those [just] takenfrom the breast?
SurelyI have composedand quietedmy soul;Like a weanedchild [rests] againsthis mother,My soulis like a weanedchild withinme.
To whomshall I speakand givewarningThat they may hear?Behold,their earsare closedAnd they cannotlisten.Behold,the wordof the LORDhas becomea reproachto them; They havenodelightin it.
[This was] to fulfillthe wordof Isaiahthe prophetwhichhe spoke:"LORD,WHOHAS BELIEVEDOUR REPORT?AND TO WHOMHAS THE ARMOF THE LORDBEEN REVEALED?"
At that timeJesussaid,"I praiseYou, Father,Lordof heavenand earth,that You have hiddenthese thingsfrom [the] wiseand intelligentand have revealedthem to infants.
likenewbornbabies,longfor the puremilkof the word,sothat by it you may growin respectto salvation,
"Thisis the judgment,that the Lighthas comeinto the world,and menlovedthe darknessratherthanthe Light,for their deedswere evil.
The prophetsprophesyfalsely,And the priestsruleon their [own] authority;And My peopleloveit so!But whatwill you doat the endof it?
"Allyour sonswill be taughtof the LORD;And the well-beingof your sonswill be great.
Whohas believedour message?And to whomhas the armof the LORDbeen revealed?
"TrulyI sayto you, whoeverdoes not receivethe kingdomof Godlikea childwill not enterit [at] [all]."
The LordGODhas givenMe the tongueof disciples,That I may knowhow to sustainthe wearyonewith a word.He awakens[Me] morningby morning,He awakensMy earto listenas a disciple.
Becausethey hatedknowledgeAnd did not choosethe fearof the LORD.
"For you hatediscipline,And you castMy wordsbehindyou.
Thussaysthe LORD,your Redeemer,the HolyOneof Israel,"I am the LORDyour God,who teachesyou to profit,Who leadsyou in the wayyou should go.
Although the Lordhas givenyou breadof privationand waterof oppression,[He], your Teacherwill nolongerhideHimself, but your eyeswill beholdyour Teacher.
For his Godinstructsand teacheshim properly.
And manypeopleswill comeand say,"Come,let us goup to the mountainof the LORD,To the houseof the Godof Jacob;That He may teachus concerningHis waysAnd that we may walkin His paths."For the lawwill goforthfrom ZionAnd the wordof the LORDfrom Jerusalem.
"Thussaysthe LORDof hosts,the Godof Israel,'Goand sayto the menof Judahand the inhabitantsof Jerusalem,"Will you not receiveinstructionby listeningto My words?"declaresthe LORD.
