but if it yieldsthornsand thistles,it is worthlessand closeto being cursed,and it endsup being burned.

For wickednessburnslike a fire;It consumesbriarsand thorns;It even setsthe thicketsof the forestaflameAnd they rollupwardin a columnof smoke.
He will not alwaysstrive[with us], Norwill He keep[His anger] forever.
"The peopleswill be burnedto lime,Like cutthornswhich are burnedin the fire.
But the manwho touchesthem Must be armedwith ironand the shaftof a spear,And they will be completelyburnedwith firein [their] place."
