since they [relate] onlyto foodand drinkand variouswashings,regulationsfor the bodyimposeduntila timeof reformation.

he shall abstainfrom wineand strongdrink;he shall drinknovinegar,whether made from wineor strongdrink,norshall he drinkanygrapejuicenoreatfreshor driedgrapes.
and [when they come] from the market place,they do not eatunlessthey cleansethemselves; and there are manyotherthingswhichthey have receivedin order to observe,such as the washingof cupsand pitchersand copper pots.)
But nowthat you have come to knowGod,orratherto be knownby God,howis it that you turn backagainto the weakand worthlesselemental things,to whichyou desireto be enslavedall overagain?
with a viewto an administrationsuitableto the fullnessof the times,[that is], the summingup of all thingsin Christ,things in the heavensand things on the earth.In Him
by abolishingin His fleshthe enmity,[which is] the Lawof commandments[contained] in ordinances,sothat in HimselfHe might makethe twointo onenewman,[thus] establishingpeace,
"Allthe eldersof that citywhich is nearestto the slainmanshall washtheir handsoverthe heiferwhose neckwas brokenin the valley;
"But it shall be when eveningapproaches,he shall bathehimself with water,and at sundownhe may reenterthe camp.
Thereforenooneis to act as your judgein regard to foodordrinkorin respectto a festivalora new moonora Sabbathday--
let us draw nearwith a sincereheartin full assuranceof faith,having our heartssprinkled[clean] from an evilconscienceand our bodieswashedwith purewater.
Do not be carried awayby variedand strangeteachings;for it is goodfor the heartto be strengthenedby grace,not by foods,throughwhichthosewho were so occupiedwere not benefited.

of instructionabout washingsand layingon of hands,and the resurrectionof the deadand eternaljudgment.
and have tastedthe goodwordof Godand the powersof the ageto come,
For when the priesthoodis changed,of necessitythere takes placea changeof lawalso.
whohas become[such] not on the basisof a lawof physicalrequirement,but accordingto the powerof an indestructiblelife.
Noweventhe first[covenant] hadregulationsof divine worshipand the earthlysanctuary.
