Then the LORDansweredme and said,"Recordthe visionAnd inscribe[it] on tablets,That the one who readsit may run.
Nowgo,writeit on a tabletbeforethem And inscribeit on a scroll,That it may servein the timeto comeAs a witness forever.
Then the LORDsaidto me, "Takefor yourself a largetabletand writeon it in ordinaryletters:Swiftis the booty,speedyis the prey.
"Thussaysthe LORD,the Godof Israel,Writeallthe wordswhichI have spokento you in a book.
"But as for you, Daniel,concealthese wordsand sealup the bookuntilthe endof time;manywill gobackand forth,and knowledgewill increase."
In the firstyearof Belshazzarkingof BabylonDanielsawa dreamand visionsin his mind[as he lay] on his bed;thenhe wrotethe dreamdown[and] relatedthe [following] summaryof it.
For whateverwas written in earlier timeswas writtenfor our instruction,sothat throughperseveranceand the encouragementof the Scriptureswe might havehope.
however,in the churchI desireto speakfivewordswith my mindsothat I may instructothersalso,rather thanten thousandwordsin a tongue.
Thereforehavingsucha hope,we usegreatboldness in [our] speech,
"You shall writeon the stonesallthe wordsof thislawverydistinctly."
"Nowtherefore, writethissongfor yourselves, and teachit to the sonsof Israel;putit on their lips,sothat thissongmay be a witnessfor Me against the sonsof Israel.
So Moseswrotethissongthe sameday,and taughtit to the sonsof Israel.
And I hearda voicefrom heaven,saying,"Write,Blessedare the deadwho diein the Lordfrom nowon!'" "Yes,"saysthe Spirit,"sothat they may restfrom their labors,for their deedsfollowwith them."
Thenhe saidto me, "Write,Blessedare thosewho are invitedto the marriagesupperof the Lamb.'"And he saidto me, "Theseare true wordsof God."
