So he waitedyetanothersevendays;and againhe sentout the dovefrom the ark.
It cameabout after the sevendays, that the waterof the floodcameupon the earth.
"For after sevenmoredays,I will sendrainon the earthfortydaysand fortynights;and I will blotout from the faceof the landeverylivingthingthat I have made."
The dovecameto him toward evening, and behold,in her beakwas a freshlypickedoliveleaf. So Noahknewthat the waterwas abatedfrom the earth.
Then he waitedyetanothersevendays, and sentout the dove;but she did not returnto him again.
but the dovefoundnorestingplacefor the soleof her foot,so she returnedto him into the ark,for the waterwas on the surfaceof allthe earth. Then he putout his handand tookher, and broughther into the arkto himself.
I waitedpatientlyfor the LORD;And He inclinedto me and heardmy cry.
Indeed,[while following] the wayof Your judgments,O LORD,We have waitedfor You eagerly;Your name, even Your memory,is the desireof [our] souls.
And I will waitfor the LORDwho is hidingHis facefrom the houseof Jacob;I will even lookeagerlyfor Him.
But ifwe hopefor whatwe do not see, with perseverancewe wait eagerlyfor it.
