and He saidto me, 'Behold,I will makeyou fruitfuland numerous,and I will makeyou a companyof peoples,and will givethislandto your descendantsafteryou for an everlastingpossession.'
And I will makeyou a greatnation,And I will blessyou, And makeyour namegreat;And so you shall be a blessing;
"A [servant] whois bornin your houseor whois boughtwith your moneyshall surelybe circumcised;thus shall My covenantbe in your fleshfor an everlastingcovenant.
"I will makeyou exceedinglyfruitful,and I will makenationsof you, and kingswill comeforthfrom you.
"I will giveto you and to your descendantsafteryou, the landof your sojournings,allthe landof Canaan,for an everlastingpossession;and I will be their God."
indeedI will greatlyblessyou, and I will greatlymultiplyyour seedas the starsof the heavensand as the sandwhichis on the seashore;and your seedshall possessthe gateof their enemies.
"I will multiplyyour descendantsas the starsof heaven,and will giveyour descendantsalltheselands;and by your descendantsallthe nationsof the earthshall be blessed;
"May GodAlmightyblessyou and makeyou fruitfuland multiplyyou, that you may becomea companyof peoples.
"For You said,I will surelyprosperyou and makeyour descendantsas the sandof the sea,whichis toogreatto be numbered.'"
Godalso saidto him, "I am GodAlmighty;Be fruitfuland multiply;A nationand a companyof nationsshall comefrom you, And kingsshall comeforthfrom you.
He said,"I am God,the Godof your father;do not be afraidto godownto Egypt,for I will makeyou a greatnationthere.
Now Israellivedin the landof Egypt,in Goshen,and they acquiredpropertyin it and were fruitfuland becameverynumerous.
Behold,childrenare a giftof the LORD,The fruitof the wombis a reward.
So they appointedtaskmastersoverthem to afflictthem with hardlabor.And they builtfor Pharaohstoragecities,Pithomand Raamses.
But the sonsof Israelwere fruitfuland increasedgreatly,and multiplied,and becameexceedinglymighty,so that the landwas filledwith them.
"They will liveon the landthat I gaveto JacobMy servant,in whichyour fatherslived;and they will liveon it, they, and their sonsand their sons'sons,forever;and DavidMy servantwill be their princeforever.
So I will turntowardyou and make you fruitfuland multiplyyou, and I will confirmMy covenantwith you.
"When the MostHighgavethe nationstheir inheritance,When He separatedthe sonsof man,He setthe boundariesof the peoplesAccording to the numberof the sonsof Israel.
