Then Josephtookthem from his knees,and bowedwith his faceto the ground.
When he liftedup his eyesand looked,behold,threemenwere standingoppositehim; and when he saw[them], he ranfrom the tentdoorto meetthem and bowedhimself to the earth,
Now the twoangelscameto Sodomin the eveningas Lotwas sittingin the gateof Sodom.When Lotsaw[them], he roseto meetthem and boweddown[with his] faceto the ground.
So Abrahamroseand bowedto the peopleof the land,the sonsof Heth.
But he himselfpassedon aheadof them and boweddownto the groundseventimes,untilhe camenearto his brother.
Now Josephwas the ruleroverthe land;he was the one who soldto allthe peopleof the land.And Joseph'sbrotherscameand boweddownto him with [their] facesto the ground.
Israelsaidto Joseph,"I neverexpectedto seeyour face,and behold,Godhas let me seeyour childrenas well."
Josephtookthem both,Ephraimwith his righthandtowardIsrael'sleft,and Manassehwith his lefthandtowardIsrael'sright,and broughtthem closeto him.
So Bathshebawentto KingSolomonto speakto him for Adonijah.And the kingaroseto meether, bowedbefore her, and saton his throne;then he had a thronesetfor the king'smother,and she saton his right.
Then she wentin and fellat his feetand bowedherself to the ground,and she tookup her sonand wentout.
"Honoryour fatherand your mother,that your daysmay be prolongedin the landwhichthe LORDyour Godgivesyou.
Mosesmadehasteto bowlowtowardthe earthand worship.
Her childrenriseup and blessher; Her husband[also], and he praisesher, [saying]:
Everyoneof you shall reverencehis motherand his father,and you shall keepMy sabbaths;I am the LORDyour God.
You shall riseup beforethe grayheadedand honorthe aged,and you shall revereyour God;I am the LORD.
Children,obeyyour parentsin the Lord,for thisis right.
