and he droveawayallhis livestockand allhis propertywhichhe had gathered,his acquiredlivestockwhichhe had gatheredin Paddan-aram,to goto the landof Canaanto his fatherIsaac.

Again,she gavebirthto his brotherAbel.And Abelwas a keeperof flocks,but Cainwas a tillerof the ground.
"You shall livein the landof Goshen,and you shall be nearme, you and your childrenand your children'schildrenand your flocksand your herdsand allthat you have.
Josephsaidto his brothersand to his father'shousehold,"I will goup and tellPharaoh,and will sayto him, 'My brothersand my father'shousehold,who[were] in the landof Canaan,have cometo me;
"WhenPharaohcallsyou and says,Whatis your occupation?'
you shall say,'Your servantshave beenkeepersof livestockfrom our youtheven untilnow,bothwe and our fathers,'that you may livein the landof Goshen;for everyshepherdis loathsometo the Egyptians."
Then Pharaohsaidto his brothers,"Whatis your occupation?"So they saidto Pharaoh,"Your servantsare shepherds,bothwe and our fathers."
Then Noahbeganfarmingand planteda vineyard.
And Hiramsenthis servantswith the fleet,sailorswho knewthe sea,alongwith the servantsof Solomon.
Now Moseswas pasturingthe flockof Jethrohis father-in-law,the priestof Midian;and he ledthe flockto the westsideof the wildernessand cameto Horeb,the mountainof God.
Like a shepherdHe will tendHis flock,In His armHe will gatherthe lambsAnd carry[them] in His bosom;He will gently leadthe nursing[ewes].
but he will say,I am not a prophet;I am a tillerof the ground,for a mansoldme as a slave in my youth.'
And Samuelsaidto Jesse,"Are these allthe children?"And he said,"There remainsyetthe youngest,and behold,he is tendingthe sheep."Then Samuelsaidto Jesse,"Sendand bringhim; for we will not sitdown untilhe comeshere."
but Davidwentbackand forth from Saulto tendhis father'sflockat Bethlehem.
