Then Josephcouldnot controlhimself before allthose who stoodby him, and he cried,"Have everyonegoout from me." So there was nomanwith him when Josephmadehimself knownto his brothers.
He turnedawayfrom them and wept.But when he returnedto them and spoketo them, he tookSimeonfrom them and boundhim before their eyes.
"For howshall I goup to my fatherif the ladis not with me-- for fearthat I seethe evilthat would overtakemy father?"
"Tell[it] not in Gath,Proclaimit not in the streetsof Ashkelon,Orthe daughtersof the Philistineswill rejoice,The daughtersof the uncircumcisedwill exult.
She tookthe panand dished[them] out beforehim, but he refusedto eat.And Amnonsaid,"Have everyonegoout from me." So everyonewentout from him.
"I have keptsilentfor a longtime,I have keptstilland restrainedMyself. [Now] like a woman in laborI will groan,I will bothgaspand pant.
But if I say,"I will not rememberHim Or speakanymorein His name,"Then in my heartit becomeslike a burningfireShutup in my bones;And I am wearyof holding[it] in, And I cannotendure[it].
"I will pourout on the houseof Davidand on the inhabitantsof Jerusalem,the Spiritof graceand of supplication,so that they will lookon Me whomthey have pierced;and they will mournfor Him, as one mournsfor an onlyson,and they will weepbitterlyoverHim like the bitterweepingovera firstborn.
"Ifyour brothersins, goand show him his faultin private;ifhe listensto you, you have wonyour brother.
not to allthe people,but to witnesseswho were chosen beforehandby God,[that is], to us whoateand drankwith Him afterHe arosefrom the dead.
"On the second[visit] Josephmade himself knownto his brothers,and Joseph'sfamilywas disclosedto Pharaoh.
