"Thisheapis a witness,and the pillaris a witness,that I will not passby thisheapto you for harm, and you will not passby thisheapand thispillarto me, for harm.
"Nowtherefore, writethissongfor yourselves, and teachit to the sonsof Israel;putit on their lips,sothat thissongmay be a witnessfor Me against the sonsof Israel.
"Then it shall comeabout, whenmanyevilsand troubleshave comeupon them, that thissongwill testifybeforethem as a witness(for it shall not be forgottenfrom the lipsof their descendants);for I knowtheir intentwhichthey are developingtoday,beforeI have broughtthem into the landwhichI swore."
