But they said,"We cannot,untilallthe flocksare gathered,and they rollthe stonefrom the mouthof the well;then we waterthe sheep."
When allthe flockswere gatheredthere,they would then rollthe stonefrom the mouthof the welland waterthe sheep,and putthe stonebackin its placeon the mouthof the well.
He said,"Behold,it is stillhighday;it is not timefor the livestockto be gathered.Waterthe sheep,and go,pasturethem."
While he was stillspeakingwith them, Rachelcamewith her father'ssheep,for she was a shepherdess.
They saidto them, "We cannotdothisthing,to giveour sisterto onewhois uncircumcised,for that would be a disgraceto us.
So they servedhim by himself,and them by themselves,and the Egyptianswho atewith him by themselves,becausethe Egyptianscouldnot eatbreadwith the Hebrews,for that is loathsometo the Egyptians.
They were sayingto one another,"Whowill roll awaythe stonefor us from the entranceof the tomb?"
And they foundthe stonerolled awayfrom the tomb,
As they wentup the slopeto the city,they foundyoungwomengoingout to drawwaterand saidto them, "Is the seerhere?"
