So Abrahamhurriedinto the tentto Sarah,and said,"Quickly,preparethreemeasuresof fineflour,knead[it] and makebreadcakes."
"Nowbehold,I have twodaughterswhohave not hadrelationswith man;pleaselet me bringthem out to you, and doto them whateveryou like;onlydonothingto thesemen,inasmuchas they have comeunder the shelterof my roof."
Jacobsaid,"No,please,ifnowI have foundfavorin your sight,then takemy presentfrom my hand,for I seeyour faceas one seesthe faceof God,and you have receivedme favorably.
As she was goingto get[it], he calledto her and said,"Pleasebringme a pieceof breadin your hand."
And winewhich makesman'sheartglad,So that he may make [his] faceglistenwith oil,And foodwhich sustainsman'sheart.
For behold,the LordGODof hostsis going to removefrom Jerusalemand JudahBoth supplyand support,the wholesupplyof breadAnd the wholesupplyof water;
Giveus this dayour dailybread.
Then Manoahsaidto the angelof the LORD,"Pleaselet us detainyou so that we may preparea younggoatfor you."
The angelof the LORDsaidto Manoah,"Thoughyou detainme, I will not eatyour food,but ifyou preparea burntoffering,[then] offerit to the LORD."For Manoahdid not knowthat he was the angelof the LORD.
Now on the fourthdaythey gotup earlyin the morning,and he preparedto go;and the girl'sfathersaidto his son-in-law,"Sustainyourselfwith a pieceof bread,and afterwardyou may go."
"Pleasedo not departfrom here,untilI come[back] to You, and bringout my offeringand layit beforeYou." And He said,"I will remainuntilyou return."
Then Gideonwentin and prepareda younggoatand unleavenedbreadfrom an ephahof flour;he putthe meatin a basketand the brothin a pot,and brought[them] out to him underthe oakand presented[them].
