Then Abrahamfellon his faceand laughed,and saidin his heart,"Will a child be bornto a manone hundredyearsold?And will Sarah,who is ninetyyearsold,bear[a child]?"
And the LORDsaidto Abraham,"Whydid Sarahlaugh,saying,'Shall I indeedbear[a child], when I am[so] old?'
Then he said,"At thisseasonnextyearyou will embracea son."And she said,"No,my lord,O manof God,do not lieto your maidservant."
Thenour mouthwas filledwith laughterAnd our tonguewith joyfulshouting;Thenthey saidamong the nations,"The LORDhas donegreatthingsfor them."
Then the Kingwill desireyour beauty.BecauseHe is your Lord,bowdownto Him.
Nevertheless,eachindividualamong you alsois to lovehis ownwifeeven as himself,and the wifemust [see to it] that she respectsher husband.
justas SarahobeyedAbraham,callinghim lord,and you have becomeher childrenif you do what is rightwithoutbeing frightenedby anyfear.
As the daybegan to dawn,the womancameand felldownat the doorwayof the man'shousewhereher masterwas, until[full] daylight.
