Godcreatedthe greatseamonstersand everylivingcreaturethat moves,with whichthe watersswarmedafter their kind,and everywingedbirdafter its kind;and Godsawthat it was good.
and to governthe dayand the night,and to separatethe lightfrom the darkness;and Godsawthat it was good.
Then Godsaid,"Let the watersteemwith swarmsof livingcreatures,and let birdsflyabovethe earthin the openexpanseof the heavens."
Godblessedthem, saying,"Be fruitfuland multiply,and fillthe watersin the seas,and let birdsmultiplyon the earth."
Godmadethe beastsof the earthafter their kind,and the cattleafter their kind,and everythingthat creepson the groundafter its kind;and Godsawthat it was good.
Godsawallthat He had made,and behold,it was verygood.And there was eveningand there was morning,the sixthday.
Out of the groundthe LORDGodformedeverybeastof the fieldand everybirdof the sky,and brought[them] to the manto seewhathe would callthem; and whateverthe mancalleda livingcreature,that was its name.
"Of the birdsafter their kind,and of the animalsafter their kind,of everycreepingthingof the groundafter its kind,twoof every[kind] will cometo you to keep[them] alive.
they and everybeastafter its kind,and allthe cattleafter their kind,and everycreepingthingthat creepson the earthafter its kind,and everybirdafter its kind,allsortsof birds.
"Bringout with you everylivingthingof allfleshthat is with you, birdsand animalsand everycreepingthingthat creepson the earth,that they may breedabundantlyon the earth,and be fruitfuland multiplyon the earth."
Everybeast,everycreepingthing,and everybird,everythingthat moveson the earth,wentout by their familiesfrom the ark.
"The fearof you and the terrorof you will be on everybeastof the earthand on everybirdof the sky;with everythingthat creepson the ground,and allthe fishof the sea,into your handthey are given.
"As for you, be fruitfuland multiply;Populatethe earthabundantlyand multiplyin it."
"But nowaskthe beasts,and let them teachyou; And the birdsof the heavens,and let them tellyou.
"The departedspiritstrembleUnderthe watersand their inhabitants.
"Am I the sea,orthe seamonster,That You seta guardoverme?
Praisethe LORDfrom the earth,Seamonstersand alldeeps;
But the sonsof Israelwere fruitfuland increasedgreatly,and multiplied,and becameexceedinglymighty,so that the landwas filledwith them.
"The Nilewill swarmwith frogs,which will comeup and gointo your houseand into your bedroomand on your bed,and into the housesof your servantsand on your people,and into your ovensand into your kneadingbowls.
"Sonof man,takeup a lamentationoverPharaohkingof Egyptand sayto him, 'You comparedyourself to a younglionof the nations,Yet you are like the monsterin the seas;And you burstforthin your riversAnd muddiedthe waterswith your feetAnd fouledtheir rivers.'"
And the LORDappointeda greatfishto swallowJonah,and Jonahwas in the stomachof the fishthreedaysand threenights.
Then the LORDcommandedthe fish,and it vomitedJonahup ontothe dryland.
for justas JONAHWAS THREEDAYSAND THREENIGHTSIN THE BELLYOF THE SEA MONSTER,sowill the Sonof Manbe threedaysand threenightsin the heartof the earth.
