But the fruitof the Spiritis love,joy,peace,patience,kindness,goodness,faithfulness,
He will be like a tree[firmly] plantedby streamsof water,Whichyieldsits fruitin its seasonAnd its leafdoes not wither;And in whateverhe does,he prospers.
They will stillyieldfruitin oldage;They shall be fullof sapand verygreen,
The endof a matteris betterthanits beginning;Patienceof spiritis betterthanhaughtinessof spirit.
Behold,I will bringto it healthand healing,and I will healthem; and I will revealto them an abundanceof peaceand truth.
O Ephraim,whatmorehave I to do with idols?It is I who answerand lookafter you. I am like a luxuriantcypress;From Me comesyour fruit.
"Eithermakethe treegoodand its fruitgood,ormakethe treebadand its fruitbad;for the treeis knownby its fruit.
and ifit bearsfruitnextyear, [fine]; but ifnot, cut it down.'"
"You did not chooseMe but I choseyou, and appointedyou that you would goand bearfruit,and [that] your fruitwould remain,sothat whateveryou askof the Fatherin My nameHe may giveto you.
"Everybranchin Me that does not bearfruit,He takes away;and every[branch] that bearsfruit,He prunesit sothat it may bearmorefruit.
"I amthe vine,you are the branches;he who abidesin Me and I in him, he bearsmuchfruit,for apartfrom Me you candonothing.
for the kingdomof Godis not eatingand drinking,but righteousnessand peaceand joyin the HolySpirit.
And concerningyou, my brethren,I myselfalsoam convincedthat you yourselvesare fullof goodness,filledwith allknowledgeand ablealsoto admonishone another.
For evenChristdid not pleaseHimself;but as it is written,"THE REPROACHESOF THOSEWHO REPROACHEDYOU FELLON ME."
NowI urgeyou, brethren,by our LordJesusChristand by the loveof the Spirit,to strive togetherwith me in your prayersto Godfor me,
But nowhaving been freedfrom sinand enslavedto God,you deriveyour benefit,resultingin sanctification,and the outcome,eternallife.
Therefore,my brethren,you alsowere made to dieto the Lawthroughthe bodyof Christ,sothat you might be joinedto another,to Him who was raisedfrom the dead,in orderthat we might bear fruitfor God.
For thosewho are accordingto the fleshset their mindson the things of the flesh,but thosewho are accordingto the Spirit,the things of the Spirit.
But nowfaith,hope,love,abidethesethree;but the greatestof theseis love.
For you were calledto freedom,brethren;only[do] not [turn] your freedominto an opportunityfor the flesh,but throughloveserveone another.
and that you be renewedin the spiritof your mind,
(for the fruitof the Light[consists] in allgoodnessand righteousnessand truth),
having been filledwith the fruitof righteousnesswhich [comes] throughJesusChrist,to the gloryand praiseof God.
so that you will walkin a manner worthyof the Lord,to please[Him] in allrespects,bearing fruitin everygoodworkand increasingin the knowledgeof God;
and that we will be rescuedfrom perverseand evilmen;for not allhave faith.
Women[must] likewise[be] dignified,not malicious gossips,but temperate,faithfulin all things.
Let no onelook downon your youthfulness,but [rather] in speech,conduct,love,faith[and] purity,showyourself an exampleof thosewho believe.
Since you have in obedienceto the truthpurifiedyour soulsfor a sincerelove of the brethren,ferventlyloveone anotherfrom the heart,
and though you have not seenHim, you loveHim, and though you do not seeHim now,but believein Him, you greatly rejoicewith joyinexpressibleand full of glory,
ThroughSilvanus,our faithfulbrother(for soI regard[him]), I have writtento you briefly,exhortingand testifyingthat thisis the true graceof God.Stand firmin it!
