Blessedbe the LORD,the Godof our fathers,whohas put[such a thing] as thisin the king'sheart,to adornthe houseof the LORDwhichis in Jerusalem,
When Hezekiahand the rulerscameand sawthe heaps,they blessedthe LORDand His peopleIsrael.
And they observedthe Feastof UnleavenedBreadsevendayswith joy,for the LORDhad caused them to rejoice,and had turnedthe heartof the kingof Assyriatowardthem to encouragethem in the workof the houseof God,the Godof Israel.
And I arosein the night,I and a fewmenwith me. I did not tellanyonewhatmy Godwas puttinginto my mindto dofor Jerusalemand therewas noanimalwith me exceptthe animalon whichI was riding.
and a letterto Asaphthe keeperof the king'sforest,that he may giveme timberto makebeamsfor the gatesof the fortresswhichis by the temple,for the wallof the cityand for the houseto whichI will go."And the kinggranted[them] to me because the goodhandof my God[was] on me.
Then my Godputit into my heartto assemblethe nobles,the officialsand the peopleto be enrolledby genealogies.Then I foundthe bookof the genealogyof those who cameup firstin which I foundthe following record:
Mosessaidto Pharaoh,"The honoris yours to tell me: whenshall I entreatfor you and your servantsand your people,that the frogsbe destroyedfrom you and your houses,[that] they may be leftonlyin the Nile?"
The king'sheartis [like] channelsof waterin the handof the LORD;He turnsit whereverHe wishes.
"The gloryof Lebanonwill cometo you, The juniper,the boxtreeand the cypresstogether,To beautifythe placeof My sanctuary;And I shall makethe placeof My feetglorious.
for he lovesour nationand it was he who builtus our synagogue."
But thanksbe to Godwho putsthe sameearnestnesson your behalfin the heartof Titus.
But I rejoicedin the Lordgreatly,that nowat lastyou have revivedyour concernfor me; indeed,you were concerned[before], but you lacked opportunity.
"THISIS THE COVENANTTHAT I WILL MAKEWITH THEM AFTERTHOSEDAYS,SAYSTHE LORD:I WILL PUTMY LAWSUPON THEIR HEART,AND ON THEIR MINDI WILL WRITETHEM," [He then says],
"FOR THISIS THE COVENANTTHAT I WILL MAKEWITH THE HOUSEOF ISRAELAFTERTHOSEDAYS,SAYSTHE LORD:I WILL PUTMY LAWSINTO THEIR MINDS,AND I WILL WRITETHEM ON THEIR HEARTS.AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD,AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
Everygoodthing givenand everyperfectgiftis from above,coming downfrom the Fatherof lights,with whomthereis novariationorshiftingshadow.
"For Godhas putit in their heartsto executeHis purposeby havinga commonpurpose,and by givingtheir kingdomto the beast,untilthe wordsof Godwill be fulfilled.
