"And it will comeabout that fishermenwill standbesideit; from Engedito Eneglaimthere will be a placefor the spreadingof nets.Their fishwill be according to their kinds,like the fishof the GreatSea,verymany.
Then they turnedbackand cameto En-mishpat(that is, Kadesh),and conqueredallthe countryof the Amalekites,and alsothe Amorites,who livedin Hazazon-tamar.
Then some cameand reportedto Jehoshaphat,saying,"A greatmultitudeis comingagainstyou from beyondthe sea,out of Aramand behold,they are in Hazazon-tamar(that is Engedi)."
Thereis the sea,greatand broad,In whichare swarmswithoutnumber,Animalsboth smalland great.
And the fishermenwill lament,And allthose who casta lineinto the Nilewill mourn,And those who spreadnetson the waterswill pineaway.
"Behold,thesewill comefrom afar;And lo,these[will come] from the northand from the west,And thesefrom the landof Sinim."
"The childrenof whom you were bereavedwill yetsayin your ears,'The placeis too crampedfor me; Makeroomfor me that I may live[here].'
"I will makeyou a barerock;you will be a placefor the spreadingof nets.You will be builtnomore,for I the LORDhave spoken,"declaresthe LordGOD.
She will be a placefor the spreadingof netsin the midstof the sea,for I have spoken,'declaresthe LordGOD,'and she will becomespoilfor the nations.
"This[shall be] the boundaryof the land:on the northside,from the GreatSea[by] the wayof Hethlon,to the entranceof Zedad;
"The southsidetoward the south[shall extend] from Tamaras faras the watersof Meribath-kadesh,to the brook[of Egypt and] to the GreatSea.This is the southsidetoward the south.
"And besidethe borderof Gad,at the southsidetoward the south,the bordershall be from Tamarto the watersof Meribath-kadesh,to the brook[of Egypt], to the GreatSea.
As for the westernborder,you shall havethe GreatSea,that is, [its] coastline;thisshall be your westborder.
And He saidto them, "FollowMe, and I will makeyou fishersof men."
And Jesussaidto them, "FollowMe, and I will makeyou becomefishersof men."
and Nibshanand the Cityof Saltand Engedi;sixcitieswith their villages.
"See,I have apportionedto you thesenationswhich remainas an inheritancefor your tribes,with allthe nationswhichI have cutoff,from the Jordaneven to the GreatSeatoward the settingof the sun.
Davidwentup from thereand stayedin the strongholdsof Engedi.
Now whenSaulreturnedfrom pursuingthe Philistines,he was told,saying,"Behold,Davidis in the wildernessof Engedi."
