and behold,the gloryof the Godof Israelwas comingfrom the wayof the east.And His voicewas like the soundof manywaters;and the earthshonewith His glory.
Alas,the uproarof manypeoplesWho roarlike the roaringof the seas,And the rumblingof nationsWho rushon like the rumblingof mightywaters!
And onecalledout to anotherand said,"Holy,Holy,Holy,is the LORDof hosts,The wholeearthis fullof His glory."
I also heardthe soundof their wingslike the soundof abundantwatersas they went,like the voiceof the Almighty,a soundof tumultlike the soundof an armycamp;whenever they stoodstill,they droppedtheir wings.
As the appearanceof the rainbowin the cloudson a rainyday,so[was] the appearanceof the surroundingradiance.Such[was] the appearanceof the likenessof the gloryof the LORD.And when I saw[it], I fellon my faceand hearda voicespeaking.
Then the gloryof the LORDwentup from the cherubto the thresholdof the temple,and the templewas filledwith the cloudand the courtwas filledwith the brightnessof the gloryof the LORD.
Then the cherubimliftedup their wingswith the wheelsbesidethem, and the gloryof the Godof Israelhoveredoverthem.
The gloryof the LORDwentup from the midstof the cityand stoodoverthe mountainwhichis eastof the city.
So I gotup and wentout to the plain;and behold,the gloryof the LORDwas standingthere,like the glorywhichI sawby the riverChebar,and I fellon my face.
And the gloryof the LORDcameinto the houseby the wayof the gatefacingtowardthe east.
The LORDsaidto me, "Thisgateshall be shut;it shall not be opened,and nooneshall enterby it, for the LORDGodof Israelhas enteredby it; therefore it shall be shut.
Then the gloryof the Godof Israelwentup from the cherubon whichit had been,to the thresholdof the temple.And He calledto the manclothedin linenat whoseloinswas the writingcase.
"For the earthwill be filledWith the knowledgeof the gloryof the LORD,As the waterscoverthe sea.
Godcomesfrom Teman,And the HolyOnefrom MountParan.Selah.His splendorcoversthe heavens,And the earthis fullof His praise.
[His] radianceis like the sunlight;He has rays[flashing] from His hand,And thereis the hidingof His power.
These thingsIsaiahsaidbecausehe sawHis glory,and he spokeof Him.
His feet[were] likeburnished bronze,whenit has been made to glowin a furnace,and His voice[was] likethe soundof manywaters.
And I hearda voicefrom heaven,likethe soundof manywatersand likethe soundof loudthunder,and the voicewhichI heard[was] like[the sound] of harpistsplayingon their harps.
Afterthese thingsI sawanotherangelcoming downfrom heaven,havinggreatauthority,and the earthwas illuminedwith his glory.
Afterthese thingsI heardsomething likea loudvoiceof a greatmultitudein heaven,saying,"Hallelujah!Salvationand gloryand powerbelong to our God;
ThenI heard[something] likethe voiceof a greatmultitudeand likethe soundof manywatersand likethe soundof mightypeals of thunder,saying,"Hallelujah!For the Lordour God,the Almighty,reigns.
havingthe gloryof God.Her brilliancewas likea very costlystone,as a stoneof crystal-clearjasper.
And the cityhasnoneedof the sunorof the moonto shineon it, for the gloryof Godhas illuminedit, and its lamp[is] the Lamb.
