The wordof the LORDcameagain to me saying,
In that daythere will be an altarto the LORDin the midstof the landof Egypt,and a pillarto the LORDnearits border.
"He will also comeand strikethe landof Egypt;those whoare [meant] for death[will be given over] to death,and those for captivityto captivity,and those for the swordto the sword.
Then the wordof the LORDcameto Jeremiahin Tahpanhes,saying,
That whichcameas the wordof the LORDto Jeremiahthe prophetconcerningthe nations.
Now in the twenty-seventhyear,in the first[month], on the firstof the month,the wordof the LORDcameto me saying,
"Sonof man,setyour faceagainstPharaohkingof Egyptand prophesyagainsthim and againstallEgypt.
"On that dayI will make a hornsproutfor the houseof Israel,and I will openyour mouthin their midst.Then they will knowthat I am the LORD."
"Sonof man,prophesyand say,'Thussaysthe LordGOD,"Wail,'Alasfor the day!'
"ThoughI instilleda terrorof him in the landof the living,yet he will be made to liedownamong[the] uncircumcised[along] with those slainby the sword,[even] Pharaohand allhis hordes,"declaresthe LordGOD.
