Give[instruction] to a wisemanand he will be stillwiser,Teacha righteousmanand he will increase[his] learning.
"But ifyou on your partwarna wickedmanto turnfrom his wayand he does not turnfrom his way,he will diein his iniquity,but you have deliveredyour life.
"Thereforebe on the alert,rememberingthat nightand dayfor a period of three yearsI did not ceaseto admonisheachonewith tears.
Thereforelet him who thinkshe standstake heedthat he does not fall.
I do not writethese thingsto shameyou, but to admonishyou as my belovedchildren.
We proclaimHim, admonishingeverymanand teachingeverymanwith allwisdom,sothat we may presenteverymancompletein Christ.
We urgeyou, brethren,admonishthe unruly,encouragethe fainthearted,helpthe weak,be patientwith everyone.
Pay close attentionto yourselfand to your teaching;perseverein these things,for as you dothisyou will ensure salvationbothfor yourselfand for thosewho hearyou.
These thingsspeakand exhortand reprovewith allauthority.Let no onedisregardyou.
let him knowthat he who turnsa sinnerfrom the errorof his waywill savehis soulfrom deathand will covera multitudeof sins.
